Aims and Objectives
The School aims to :
- Discover and develop each child’s God given potential.
- As our name “Educe” implies, which means: “to discover and develop latent potential.”
- Teacher’s will strive to get to know each child to a level that they can successfully identify each child’s natural interests and abilities and then guide the child to develop his/her potential to the fullest.
- Cultivate individuals that have confidence in who they are and what they are worth. Who know what their gifts are and what they offer to this world.
- Cultivate a love for Jesus our Saviour, God the Father and the Holy Spirit.
- Promoting a personal relationship with God.
- Providing an atmosphere of love and acceptance, so that children might experience God’s love first hand and strive to also give God’s love freely to others.
- Empower children to be able to become self-sufficient adults by teaching Homesteading and Subsistence Agriculture additional to the Namibian curriculum.
- Teach children how to grow food.
- Teach children how to raise poultry for meat and egg production.
- Teach children how to preserve and use produce.
- Teach children how to market their produce.
- Cultivate a love for learning so that children will grow up to be life-long learners.
- Providing a rich and living education that stimulates and engages.
- Providing a learner Centred education so that each child has an individualized learning experience.
- Cultivate the habit of self-discipline.
- Providing opportunity for the child to attend, put forth his best effort and to be thorough. When doing so the child will also receive the reward of a task completed well and will learn that it takes self- discipline and hard work to be successful in life.
- Cultivate a love for God’s creation – living and non-living things that share this planet with us.
- Providing a Natural Science, Science and Agriculture curriculum that glorifies God as the creator of everything and establishes us (human beings) as the care-takers there-of.
- Providing children with the opportunity to be involved in taking care of God’s creation by maintaining a school garden and having pets and poultry to take care of.
- Cultivate a love for the good and the beautiful.
- Providing an arts program that develops a taste for the good and the beautiful in life.
- Children will memorise poetry and learn a wide variety of songs.
- Nature appreciation (natural science) also teaches children to be attentive to their natural surroundings and see the good and the beautiful in it.
- Cultivate respect for oneself and others so that children will grow up to be worthy and contributing citizens of Namibia and of the World we live in.
- Treating each child as an individual that is a person in his/her own right that is worth respect and consideration. By doing so, children will live by example and also respect themselves and others.
